International Arts Festival NOLA
Three days. Three iconic venues. One unified experience.
The Challenge: A Complex Ecosystem
The International Arts Festival (IAF) set an ambitious goal for its inaugural year: to host a world-class, multi-day event spanning the cultural spectrum of New Orleans. The logistics were formidable.
The festival needed to seamlessly integrate three distinct venue typologies:
-
The Fillmore (Live Nation): A corporate-managed powerhouse requiring strict compliance and complex ticketing integration.
-
The Orpheum Theater: A historic, seated theater demanding precise box office management.
-
Congo Square: An open-air historic site requiring robust access control for over 5,000 attendees.

The Three-Day Journey

Day 1: Friday, Sept 26
The Fillmore
Jazz & Soul Legends
We kicked off the festival at The Fillmore, a venue operated by Live Nation. The challenge was bridging the gap between independent festival organization and corporate infrastructure.
The Solution: Leveraging our partnership with Showpass, we executed a seamless ticket allocation strategy that satisfied Live Nation's manifest requirements while retaining ownership of customer data for the festival organizers.

Day 2: Saturday, Sept 27
The Orpheum Theater
International Star Power
The historic Orpheum Theater hosted a night of global sounds. Managing a seated venue requires precision ticketing to handle reserved seating tiers and VIP allocations.

Day 3: Sunday, Sept 28
Congo Square
A Celebration of Community
The grand finale took place at the sacred grounds of Congo Square. Over 5,000 attendees gathered for an outdoor celebration. We implemented high-throughput access control scanners to manage the influx of crowds efficiently, ensuring a safe and smooth entry experience.

Cultural Diplomacy & Global PR
The festival was more than music; it was a summit of cultures. The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) utilized the festival as a platform to showcase their cultural strength.
"Antigua and Barbuda’s commitment to ensuring that travel to the islands benefits local communities as much as it inspires visitors."
Key Achievements:
- Media Reach: Features on KZEM 102.9 FM and Cumulus Radio Station Group extended the festival's voice.
- Civic Engagement: Direct collaboration with New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell.
- Sister City Summit: Panel discussions at Gallier Hall exploring tourism and cultural economies.
